Morrissey would also like to stress that he has no association with the Warner release called ‘The Smiths Complete’. This project has taken place without any consultation to Morrissey, and without any approach to Morrissey from either Warner, Rhino, or Johnny Marr. We’ve been having a bit of an interesting, lamenting discussion about when we think Morrissey will retire, what he’ll do if anything to mark the event, and what we’d do with our lives!

So I’m interested, when do you all think Morrissey is likely to step back and retire?

Sadly, lots of people think he’ll be gone by the end of this year, or at the latest after the autobiography, as he’s hinted before.
But I’m staying (perhaps naively) a bit more optimistic, for varying reasons…

Depressingly, I was really well positioned to take some excellent photos at the couple of shows I was at, but inevitably I was much, much too excited to possibly keep still so most my snapshots came out very shaky.

So they’ll be posted in due course, sorry if I get too excited at post too many at once! I will try to do it gradually, honestly…
